Each year, GEMX offers free sign-ups for math competitions with no entrance fees.

Beyond contests, GEMX actively engages with the Memphis community to promote STEM awareness, beginning with in-person support and fostering a community that helps keep students in school.

GEMX President and Founder Amy Yu speaks to the District Education Board, including interim superintendent Roderick Richmond, securing weekly transportation through by school buses designated for GEMX use.

GEMX + MATHCOUNTS

White Station Middle School

Peer Tutoring Night

GEMX tutors organized a school-wide Peer Tutoring Night, where White Station Middle School MATHCOUNTS team could meet with students in tutoring. By supervising open discussions with over 30 students together, GEMX created a community for learners of all skill levels, including those with disabilities.
